The Wheel
If you want to buy a new wheel,
consider the following:
The original
rim is made of a 2.5 mm steel sheet.
Other rims are offered that are only made of a 1.5 mm steel sheet.
Our rim is
made of 2.5 mm steel sheet same as the original one.
The easiest way is to determine the weight.
The original
rim (and ours) are made of 2.5 mm steel sheet weighs 4.2 kg.
The one made of 1.5 mm steel sheet weighs only 3.4 kg. So 0.8 kg material and stability
are missing.
The brake drum
It is similar with the brake drum.
The original brake
drum is pressed of 5.5 mm steel plate.
Ours
is also made of 5.5 mm steel plate.
The other brake
drums are offered that are only made of 4.0 mm steel sheet.
The easiest way is also to determine the weight.
The original
brake drum (and ours) are made of 5.5 mm steel plate weighs 5.4 kg.
The one made of 4.0 mm steel sheet only weighs 4.6 kg. So 0.6 kg material and stability
are missing.
